Jung Soo Kim

Jung Soo Kim has been a professor of mechanical engineering at Hongik University since 1995. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Kim held various engineering positions, including senior research engineer at LG Industrial Systems, member of the technical staff at Hughes Aircraft Co., and staff engineer at Shugart Corp.

Dr. Kim has also served in leadership roles, serving as the vice president of the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea and the president of the Education Division of the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Dr. Kim received a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as an M.S. and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
